Ronald Eugene Mazzanti, age 81, of Fenelton, passed away Sunday, December 11, at Good Samaritan Hospice.

Born September 6, 1935 in Butler, he was the son of the late Frank and Gertrude Myers Mazzanti.

He was a self-employed painting contractor.

Ronald was a member of Saint Wendelin Roman Catholic Church.

He was also a member of the Italian Fraternal Society and the Sons of Italy.  He was an avid pool player and golfer.

Ronald is survived by three sons, Michael "Muzz" Mazzanti and his wife, Vicky, of West Sunbury, James Mazzanti and his wife, Diane, of Cabot, and William Mazzanti, of Butler; one daughter, Rhonda McGregor and her husband, Bruce, of Fenelton; one step-daughter, Courtney Feener and her husband, Michael, of Florida; and three brothers, Denny Mazzanti, of Virginia, Dave Mazzanti and his wife, Barb, of South Carolina, and Rick Mazzanti and his wife, Linda, of Butler.

Also surviving are eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sherry Cross Mazzanti, who passed away September 26, 2016.

Friends will be received in the Martin Funeral Home, Inc., 429 Center Avenue, Butler, on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. from Saint Wendelin Roman Catholic Church, with Reverend Matt McClain, Pastor, officiating.

Burial will take place in Saint Michael's Cemetery.
