Ronald M. Lavorini, age 79, of Butler, passed away Friday evening, June 10, at VNA Inpatient Hospice.

Born in Butler on November 5, 1936, he was a son of the late Aldo and Mary Mudrick Lavorini.

He was retired from Butler Armco, where he was employed as a bricklayer for 35 years.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.

Ron was a member of Saint Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church; VFW Post 249, of Butler; and American Legion Post 117, of Butler.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria A. Kienzle Lavorini, whom he married June 18, 1960; one son, Mark W. Lavorini and his wife, Ronata L., of Butler; one brother, Robert Lavorini and his wife, Norma, of Butler; one sister, Donna Cupps, of Butler; one grandson, Adrian Lavorini; and one granddaughter, Giona Lavorini.

Friends will be received in the Martin Funeral Home, Inc., 429 Center Avenue, Butler, on Tuesday from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 a.m. from St. Michael the Archangel R.C. Church, 432 Center Avenue, Butler.

Burial will take place in St. Michael's Cemetery.
