Mary Elinor Parise Montag, age 94, of Cabot, formerly of Butler, passed away Friday, March 16, at Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot.

Born in Butler on March 26, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Mary Pagano Chiprean.

She worked as a secretary for the Monroe Calculator Company.

Mrs. Montag was a former member of Saint Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church.

She is survived by two sons, Frank J. Parise, Jr. and his wife, Mary, of Greenville, PA, and Bill A. Parise and his wife, Linda, of Rochester, PA; three grandchildren; and one sister, Lucille Elias, of New Kensington, PA.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank J. Parise, Sr.; her second husband, Edwin Montag; one grandson; and one brother.

Friends will be received in the Martin Funeral Home, Inc., 429 Center Avenue, Butler, on Tuesday from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.

Funeral services will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will take place in Saint Michael's Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the donor's favorite charity.
