Joseph M. Gibson, age 32, of Butler, passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2017.

Born in Butler on March 24, 1985, he was a son of Michael Gibson and the late Terrie L. Kosar Parsons.

Joseph was employed as a mechanic at Jack's Auto Sales.

He was survived by his father, Michael Gibson and his fiancée, Patricia Johns, of Chicora; one daughter, Neveah Gibson, of Chicago; one brother, Robert Gibson, of North Carolina; two sisters, Nicole Shores and her fiancé, Christopher Ford, of North Carolina, and Brittany Gibson, of Chicora; his stepfather, Michael Parsons, of North Carolina; his stepsister, Tarah Johns, of Chicora; and two nephews and one niece.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Terrie L. Kosar Parsons, who passed away March 3, 2013.

Friends will be received in the Martin Funeral Home, Inc., 429 Center Avenue, Butler, on Sunday from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.

Services will follow at 6 p.m., with the Reverend Alan Ion, of the Church of God of Prophecy, officiating.

Burial will take place in St. Michael's Cemetery.
