Joanne M. Grecco, age 85, of Butler, passed away Wednesday at her residence.

Born in Butler on January 3, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Gerald F. and Sarah Schaffner Liebler.

Joanne was a homemaker and was formerly employed at McCandless Pharmacy.

She was a member of the Butler Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, the Century Club, the Esquire Club and the Silver Sneakers.

She is survived by her husband, Edward F. Grecco, whom she married February 3, 1951; two sons, Thomas E. Grecco and his wife, Beth, of Butler, and James M. Grecco and his wife, Sandy, of Norfolk, VA; one daughter, Barbara J. Grecco and her companion, Wayne Pollock, of Chesapeake, VA; one brother, Ron Liebler and his wife, Pauline, of Butler; and one sister, Connie McMillen, of Greenville, PA.

Also surviving are two grandchildren, Anthony and Matthew Grecco, of Norfolk, VA.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Gerald H. Liebler.

Friends will be received in the Martin Funeral Home, Inc., 429 Center Avenue, Butler, on Sunday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 11 a.m. from Saint Fidelis Roman Catholic Church, 125 Buttercup Road, Meridian, with Joanne's nephew, Rev. Robert Grecco, officiating.

Burial will take place in the Chapel of Devotion Mausoleum at Butler County Memorial Park.
