Butler
Isabell "Izzy" Bacher, age 95, of Butler, peacefully passed away Thursday, May 10, 2018, at The Orchard, surrounded by her family.
She left this world as she lived her life - humbly, gracefully, with a peaceful spirit and grateful heart, ready to meet her Savior.
Born in Butler on December 4, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Braden and Norma Shakely Kiser.
Isabell was a long-time member of Saint Andrews United Presbyterian Church, Butler, and she served that church in many capacities. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, and her passion in life was caring for her family. She was always happiest when helping others. She loved to sing, and she sang hymns of praise while creating beautiful flower gardens around her home.
Surviving are one son, Paul (Gloria) Bacher, of Butler; one daughter, Bonita "Bonnie" (David) Martin, of Butler; three grandchildren, Jason (Ruth) Bacher, of Butler, Heidi Martin, of Boston, Adam (Amanda) Martin, of Butler; and four great-grandchildren, Jakob, Harper, Aubriella and Madilynne Isabell; two sisters, Velma Blain, Cleo (Ron) Baxter, and one brother, Paul (Renie) Kiser, all of Butler; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Cliff Bacher, who passed away December 13, 1990; two grandchildren; four sisters; and three brothers.
Friends will be received on Monday from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Saint Andrews United Presbyterian Church, 201 E. Jefferson Street, Butler. Services will follow at 11 a.m., with Rev. Merry Meloy, pastor, officiating.
Private burial will take place in Greenlawn Burial Estates.
