George M. Luich, age 61, of Butler, passed away peacefully in his sleep in the early morning hours of May 6, 2021.

Born in Butler on August 17, 1959, he was a son of the late Michael G. Luich, Jr. and Alice Olsen Luich.

He was a truck driver who was dedicated to his work.  He also loved to cook.

He is survived by his children, Valetta Luich, of Butler, and George M. Luich, Jr., of Butler; his siblings, Alice Horstman, of Herman, John Luich and his wife, Arlene, of Cabot, and Mary Weingartner of North Carolina; and three grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Debrann Luich; one son, John Luich; and one sister, Margaret McCloud.

Private funeral services were held for close family and friends.

Arrangements were entrusted to the care of the Martin Funeral Home, Inc., 429 Center Avenue, Butler.
