Frederic Ronald Greiner, age 71, of Slippery Rock., formerly of Ridgway, passed away Sat., March 25, 2023, at Good Samaritan Hospice, Cabot.

Born in Pittsburgh on Dec. 14, 1951, he was the son of Virginia Haight Greiner and the late Frederic Greiner.

He worked as a flag truck driver, first for a company and then as a self-employed private contractor for the last 12 years of his career. Before that, he was a welder for Walker Manufacturing.

He loved visiting the shooting range, and he was a self-proclaimed pyrotechnician.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Gordon Greiner; two sons, Jade Greiner and his wife, Stacy, of Cape Coral, Fla., and Jody Greiner and his wife, Melissa, of Butler; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

There will be no visitation, and services will be private.
