Donald L. Wise, age 82, of Butler, peacefully passed away Saturday, April 13, 2024.

He was born in Butler on Oct. 14, 1941, and was a son of the late Herbert W. and Helen L. Patten Wise.

Don was delivery driver and was employed by the Braun Baking Company in Butler.

He was a member of All Saints Parish, Saint Peter Roman Catholic Church.

Don enjoyed gardening and fishing.

He is survived by his children, Margie T. (Mitch Rea) Wise, of Pittsboro, N.C., Donald E. Wise, of Butler, and Angela (Carl) Gross, of Butler; one sister, Lavaughn E. Hawn, of Phoenix, Ariz.; and two grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Louise "Tudy" Kohnen Fisher Wise, who passed away Nov. 14, 2021, and one brother, Harry Wise.

Friends will be received in the Martin Funeral Home, Inc., 429 Center Ave., Butler, on Thursday from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

A Blessing Service will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home, with Rev. John J. Baver officiating.

Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery.
