Della M. Vaughn, age 97, of Zelienople, formerly of Butler, passed away of natural causes on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Passavant Retirement Community.

Born in Butler on April 8, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Hilda Eichenlaub Moniot.

She was a member of Saint Paul Roman Catholic Church, Butler.

Della was also a member of Armco County Club and Saint Paul Catholic Women and Christian Mothers. She was a past president of the Women's Auxiliary of Passavant Retirement Community.

She is survived by one son, Wesley C. Vaughn and his wife, Eileen "Tyke", of Meridian; one daughter, Mary Ann Ratkus and her husband, Robert, of Port Huron, Mich.; one brother, James Moniot, of Virginia Beach, Va.; son-in-law Richard Ross of Linwood, N.J.; seven grandchildren, Sean Ratkus and his wife, Lauren, Derek Ratkus, Zachary Ratkus, Chris Smith and her husband, Jerry, John Ross and his wife, Nanette, Alan Vaughn and his wife, Sarah, Jennifer Ann Vaughn-Weaver and her spouse, Allison; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. "Arky" Vaughn, Sr., who passed away November 27, 2002; one daughter, Joyce Ross; one infant son, Charles Vaughn, Jr.; and her sister, Eva Sleigher.

There will be no visitation.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Wednesday, February 10, from Saint Paul Roman Catholic Church, with Rev. Kevin C. Fazio officiating.

Burial took place at Calvary Cemetery.
