Our beloved Beatriz C. "Bessie" Tiburcio, age 84, of Butler, unexpectedly passed away early Friday morning at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born in Manila, Philippines on December 20, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Cipriano and Trinidad Tayag Castillo.

Bessie was a member of Saint Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church.

She also was a board member of the Filipino American Association of Pittsburgh.

She is survived by her husband, Dr. Albino F. Tiburcio, whom she married December 31, 1956; , one son, Astrophel C. "Butch" Tiburcio, of Gibsonia; one daughter, Arlene Bullotta and her husband, Joseph, of Clinton, PA; and one grandson, Dominic Bullotta, of Clinton, PA.

Friends will be received in the Martin Funeral Home, Inc., 429 Center Avenue, Butler, on Sunday from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10 a.m. in Saint Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, 432 Center Avenue, Butler.

Entombment will take place in the Chapel of Devotion Mausoleum at Butler County Memorial Park.

The Bereavement Group of Saint Michael the Archangel Parish will meet at the funeral home on Sunday at 3 p.m. to conduct a Scriptural Wake Service.
